“Skydive Belize” is the pioneer of skydiving in this amazing, scenic and magical nation.

Recognized by the Belize Department of Civil Aviation and the Belize Parachute and Skydive Association as the leading experts in skydiving nationwide, Skydive Belize offers jumps over and into the Great Blue Hole.

Skydive Belize hosts these jumps a few times per year and a reservation needs to be made for a tandem skydive months in advance. We bring in our world class instructors and video flyers and an aircraft specifically designed for skydiving for these jumps. Our safety record is impeccable.

To make a tandem skydive into the Blue Hole requires a host of logistics with our partners, including the SunBreeze Hotel in San Pedro, Tropic Air, Amigos Del Mar dive center and our friends at the Belize Audubon Society, caretakers of the Blue Hole and surrounding reef.

Regarded as one of the most desired skydives in the world, the jump over, and into the Blue Hole requires a water landing. Everything is provided for your safety, including a retrieval boat with rescue divers. The skydiving gear used is state of the art and is replaced often after a few salt water landings.

The day starts in San Pedro with breakfast and a safety briefing at the Blue Water Grill. After a final equipment check we walk across the street to the San Pedro Airport and board our skydiving aircraft for the 30 minute flight 55 miles out to sea. Arriving at the Blue Hole, we orbit it to contact the dive boat that is waiting for us for wind reports and communication with any tour aircraft in the area. And then it is time for the greatest skydive ever! After a 45 second freefall you will be hanging from the opened parachute, TAKING IN THE BREATHTAKING SCENERY and enjoying the flight down, splashing into the warm water in the center of the Blue Hole. The rescue boat will pick you and your instructor up and take you to the large dive boat, to prepare for your SCUBA dive or snorkel. After enjoying the Blue Hole, the dive boat motors a few miles to another dive site by Half Moon Caye. After that dive, full of seeing turtles and colorful fish we head to Half Moon Caye to see the world famous red footed Booby Birds and enjoy a gourmet lunch and some cold beverages. After lunch and an island tour, we start to motor back to San Pedro, with huge smiles after an amazing adventure!

This is unlike any tandem skydive on earth and is very highly expensive, due to all of the logistics and maintenance of our state of the art equipment. Package deals are available for minimum groups of four participants, which include flights on Tropic Air to and from the international airport and San Pedro, seven nights stay at the SunBreeze. The package also covers the permit to skydive and SCUBA or snorkel at the Blue Hole and any equipment that is needed.
